Dinner Theatre
The Melvern Pride is having a Dinner Theatre and the entire community is invited. The theme is Boardinghouse, on Friday, March
21st and Saturday, March 22nd at the Melvern Community Center. Each ticket is $18 for the dinner and show. Tickets can be
purchased at the Melvern Library from Ken and Jane Yocum.
After Prom Activities
The MdCV Booster Club is preparing for the MdCV 2014 after-prom activities. The mission is to provide a safe and fun evening of
entertainment for our high school students and their dates. We are looking for people to help by donating money or gift items for
our students for this evening. If you are interested please contact Sonya Jones or Tammy Vanderpool.
Elementary Carnival
The Marais des Cygnes Valley Elementary School will host its seventh annual school carnival Saturday, April 12th at the Quenemo
gym from 10 a.m-1:00 p.m. The purpose of the carnival is to benefit the school’s reading program.
Flint Hills Optimist Club All-Star Game
MdCV has five senior basketball players- Morgan Coffman, Brittany Kramer, Matt Jones, Mark Price and Kaden Vanderpool who will
be participating in the all-star game on Saturday, March 29th. The girls’ game begins at 6:00 p.m. and the boys’ game begins at 8:00
p.m. Congratulations!
