Positive resonance among exhibitors at
Druck+Form 2013
Sinsheim. Druck+Form, Trade fair for the graphic industry, took
place for the 19th time at Messe Sinsheim from 9th - 12th October
2013. 104 exhibitors from Germany (91), Austria (3), Italy (3),
Switzerland (2), United Kingdom (2), Greece (2), USA (1) and
Hungary (1) represented the sectors prepress, printing, processing,
software and services, so that exhibitor figures - despite the difficult
economic situation within the printing industry - remained at the
same level as last year. The professional quality of the Druck+Form
attendees took another noticeable step up, with the percentage of
company managers and decision makers among the visitors rising
from 71% in 2012 to 73% this year, again confirming the high
contact quality of Druck+Form. Approximately 4,000 trade visitors
were registered on the four days of the fair. The wide-ranging
seminar programme at Druck+Form was well received. Many of the
informative
lectures
and
workshops
in
the
PRINT
FACTORY
ACADEMY had a full house. For example one lecture that particularly
attracted attention was successful coach Klaus J. Fink on the topic of
"Key factors for the successful sale of printed matter", and also
best-selling author Slatco Sterzenbach with his presentation "Beat
burnout with vitality- Prevention instead of therapy". Further added
value for visitors was offered by the MediaLounge. In addition to the
seminars held in the PRINT FACTORY ACADEMY, visitors were able
to meet the speakers personally in the relaxed atmosphere of the
MediaLounge and take time to discuss and expand on topics of
particular interest from the PRINT FACTORY ACADEMY. Lively
participation was also registered in the newly featured Druck+Form
PRINT
FACTORY
TOUR.
Guided
tours
several
times
a
day
accompanied visitors along a workflow at selected exhibition stands,

where integrated solution approaches were demonstrated, based on
the production example of an individualised cocktail recipe book.
The grand finale of the tour entailed an impressive barkeeper show
and a cocktail of choice in the MediaLounge.
According to the exhibitors, this year's Druck+Form fully lived up to
its reputation as a highly valued order fair and platform for the
industry. The quality of visitors and the large number of first-rate
promising customer contacts was particularly emphasized. Matthias
Siegel, marketing manager of MB Bäuerle expressed: "This year the
Druck+Form again proved that it occupies a rightful place in the
graphics
trade
fair
landscape.
The
technological
trends
that
currently concern the industry were prominently in the foreground:
i.e.
digital
printing
with
all
corresponding
forms
of
further
processing. The Print Factory Academy with its more or less
constant full house is meanwhile firmly established within the
Druck+Form programme. And in addition the MediaLounge makes
room for active communication on the lecture topics." Wolfgang
Boretius, managing director of trivet.net, was also happy with the
outcome of the fair: "We were very satisfied with the quality of the
visitors at our stand, including numerous media service providers.
Our second participation at Druck+Form has been most successful".
Wolfgang Gans, marketing director of the Production Printing
Business
company's

of
Ricoh

the

an
considers
all-round
his
success:
"Druck+Form is the most important event for the industry in
southern Germany. In 2013 the fair again provided an excellent
platform from which to make contact with customers and prospects.
The concept of the MediaLounge and the Print Factory Tour should
be repeated in 2014. Ricoh Deutschland's participation was again
very productive and we were able to make plenty of new
professional contacts."
Andreas Wittur, managing director of Messe Sinsheim GmbH, is also
pleased with the positive outcome of Druck+Form. "Due to the
difficult situation in the printing industry several trade fairs for this
sector were cancelled this year. We wanted to continue to offer the

industry a competent platform and so we considerably increased our
efforts for Druck+Form using widespread marketing measures. Our
initiative was worthwhile and we were able to stabilise the statistics
with regard to exhibitor as well as visitor figures, thus counteracting
the present trend. And what is more important: the exhibitors were
very pleased with the outcome of the fair. We also received entirely
positive feedback from the visitors, who showed appreciation for the
comprehensive seminar programme and the choice of topics. Based
on these results we are confident that we are on the right track for
Druck+Form in the future."
Druck+Form 2014 takes place from 8th - 11th October 2014
in Messe Sinsheim's hall.6.
