Madison Square Garden
Madison Square Garden takes its name from the junction where the first two
incarnations of the venue were located in New York City. Madison Square was on
Madison Avenue at 26th Street, and here the first version of the now legendary
stadium rose from the Manhattan ground and began its story. Madison Square
Garden was principally a boxing venue, and saw numerous near-mythic bouts
between some of the best fighters in the world. The Garden is responsible for
approximately 320 events annually, including major concerts and serving as home
to the New York Knicks basketball team and New York Rangers hockey team.

Just two blocks from the Hotel, Central Park is 843 acres (341 hectares) of prime

Broadway Theatre District
Manhattan's theatre district is comprised of a variety of entertainment options,
including dozens of theatres and numerous restaurants. The area extends from
Sixth Avenue to Eighth Avenue (east to west) and from 40th Street to 52nd Street
(south to north). Guests can reserve a car through the concierge desk, or they
can choose to access the theatre district by taxi, subway or on foot. All methods

THE GARDEN
Overlooking the Hotel’s towering Grand Lobby, The Garden provides a dramatic,
enchanted forest-like restaurant setting in New York. Take a table in between the
twisting, undulating trunks of enormous African acacia trees. The Garden offers
breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch with exceptional restaurant menus
featuring local ingredients. In the evenings, it is turned into an event space

The Hotel features a full-service shipping and receiving office. All packages should be sent to the attention of a
group's name and your catering or conference services contact. They will be stored in a separate conference
storage area. Limited space is available for the storage of large items. Please time shipping to the date of your
arrival.

Shipping of post-conference materials may be coordinated though your catering or conference services
contact.
Receiving dock
Please contact the receiving department or your catering or conference services contact for special
arrangements for delivery of oversized packages or environmentally sensitive equipment.
