Swimmers will be advised by coaches in regard to the events they should enter in respect of
their squad training objectives for the season.

Information Sheet
1.
The competition will be held under the Laws and Technical Rules of the A.S.A. The Meet is a
Level 4 licensed meet.
2.
Heats are arranged according to submitted entry times. All events are HDW. (The promoters
reserve the right to combine age groups as appropriate to the number of entries).
3.
The warm ups will be 20 mins before the start of each session split as/if appropriate.
4.
'OVER THE TOP' starts will be used for all events except backstroke events. This means that at
the end of a race the swimmer will stay in the water until after the start of the next race, and then
leave the water quickly BY THE SIDE of the pool.
5.
Swimmers should seek guidance from club coaches for which events to enter. Swimmers can
enter any events for time only.
6.
Entry will be £2 per event – paid with entry form.
8.
Swimmers are advised not to leave their clothing or other articles in the changing rooms as
neither the promoters nor the Leisure Centre management can accept responsibility for loss or
damage. Please use the lockers provided.
9.
The promoters reserve the right to refuse admission to any competitor or spectator.
10.
Anything not covered in the above - or not printed in the programme will be at the
discretion of the promoters.

The pool is an eight lane 25 metre pool with anti-wave lane ropes. Four lanes only
will be used for this competition.
