Director of ERC- The Director of External Relations is in charge of planning the agenda for ERC meetings,
overseeing subcommittees within ERC by working with committee leads, recruiting members, increasing member
involvement, overseeing volunteers for the annual scholarship fundraiser, and working with the rest of the team to
plan events.”
Fundraiser Associate- Leads the Fundraiser Committee to secure gift procurements for Silent Auction and Dessert
Dash, while reporting to the Director of Fundraiser for aiding assistance when needed. She will work with the
Director of Marketing is designing fundraiser invites.
Recruitment Associate- Leads the Marketing Committee, which is responsible for tabling, marketing, and class
presentations as well as planning and implementing the decorations/theme of the Fundraiser. She also works as part
of the executive team in organizing UWiB events. She is specifically in charge of student recruitment on the
University of Washington campus. She works with target recruitment groups to host events, schedules classroom
talks, and fosters recognition of members.
Events Associate- The Events Associate works alongside the rest of the Executive Team in the planning and
execution of UWiB activities. She coordinates and oversees the set up and clean up of events, including the
Fundraiser, which includes leading the Events Committee, developing set up/clean up protocol, procuring event
food donations, and making all room/equipment reservations and rentals. Management and upkeep of storage items
is another function of the Events Associate. She is also responsible for aiding the Director of Fundraiser when
needed.
Student Mentorship Associate- Leads the mentorship relationship between upperclassmen and underclassmen,
including the planning of quarterly summits.
Director of Philanthropy- In alignment with UWiB's 2020 vision, it is the Director of Philanthropy's duty to
maintain a strong relationship with a singular external organization, Washington Cash, whose mission aligns with
UWiB's mission of advancing women in business. She is responsible for organizing volunteer opportunities. It is
their responsibility to promote the event to UWiB members and recruit volunteers.
Director of Corporate Relations- The Director of Recruitment is responsible for networking with individuals in the
business community to build the UWiB Gold Member corporate contact list. She must constantly attend career fairs
and hold meetings with company representatives to build personal relationships. She also invites these contacts to
all UWiB events and markets the gold company's internship and job opportunities to gold members as well. She is
also responsible for maintaining the Gold Website and providing the Director of Finance with “new” company
contacts.
Director of Corporate Mentorship (B2S)- Maintains previously made mentor relationships and plan B2S events
pair new mentors/gold members. She reports to Corporate Relationships for new contacts and such relationships
are to last 1 academic year. Her other responsibilities include recruiting new businesswomen and organizing
opportunities for these women to bond with each other. Leads the mentorship relationship between upperclassmen
and underclassmen, including the planning of quarterly summits.
Director of Finance-Reaches out to previous sponsorship companies while relying on the Director of Corporate
Relations for new companies, raises money for general UWiB operations, obtains two to three event sponsorships
per quarter, maintains 501c3 status for the organization, prepares monthly financial statements, updates
fundraising documents, secures table sponsors for the annual UWIB Scholarship Dinner & Silent Auction and
advises the UWiB Executive Team and UWiB Alumni Board on the financial health of the organization.
Director of PR- The Director of PR writes all weekly emails to UWiB members, manages the blog, Facebook, and
Twitter accounts by continuously writing about upcoming and past events. She also assists other team members in
writing emails or blurbs for activities. She writes 2 newsletters per quarter (once in the beginning and once at the
end) and is in charge of all press relations and press releases for the annual UWiB fundraiser and maintains a
relationship with the Director of IT.

Director of Admin- The Director of Administration is responsible for taking minutes at executive meetings,
reserving venues and equipment for events, keeping membership and attendance records, and maintaining all UWiB
correspondence
Director of Marketing- The Director of Marketing's primary responsibilities include brainstorming concepts and
designing marketing strategies and materials to educate others of UWiB's purpose, events, and programs. In
addition, she will work with the Fundraiser Associate in designing fundraiser invites.
Director of Fundraiser- The Director of Fundraiser is responsible for organizing the annual Undergraduate
Women in Business Fundraiser during the Winter Quarter at the University of Washington. Her main role is to
organize the logistics of the big event.
Director of IT-. Besides working with the executive team in planning UWiB events, the Director of IT is mainly
responsible for creating and maintaining the club web site, uwuwib.com. She is also in charge of documenting all
UWiB events as well as creating all electronic media, specifically PowerPoint presentations for UWiB guest
speakers and other executive team members. In addition, she maintains a relationship with the Director of Public
Relations
