Our mission is to delight supremely in God through Jesus Christ
by the power of the Holy Spirit,
for the glory of God’s name and
for the good of neighbors and nations.
Jesus answered them,
“Destroy this temple,
and in three days I will raise it up.”

PRAYER TEAM: A team of people has committed to pray for the Vision
Team. If you would like to join in this ministry of intercession, please make
a note on the Response Form. You are encouraged to pray regularly and
especially during the next Vision Team meetings on Sundays, Nov. 1 and 15
from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Those who would like to meet together for prayer are
welcome to meet in the sanctuary or Prayer Chapel during those times.
WE ARE GLAD YOU’RE HERE! Please let us know how we may serve
you. (See church and leadership contact information on the back page.)
ENTER HIS GATES WITH PRAISE: As you come into the sanctuary, you
are encouraged to enter in an attitude of worship. Please help us all to
focus on the Lord by joining in songs of praise and worship and waiting to
connect with people in fellowship following worship.
CHILDREN ARE WELCOME in worship with their family. We believe that God
has called us to strengthen families which are often separated and torn apart in
society. We want to help parents fulfill the responsibility God has given them for
helping their children know and love Jesus. One way for families to experience
unity is by worshiping together. We also offer opportunities that are specifically
aimed at helping children and youth cherish Christ as Lord and trust and follow
Jesus in daily life. In addition, we seek to equip parents to bring up their
children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
IF YOU NEED to take your child out of the Sanctuary, we offer a video
monitor in the Fellowship Hall and in the Nursery for your convenience. We
also have a team of loving volunteers who are willing to help care for little
ones (age 3 and under) if needed.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: You can bless a needy child
somewhere in the world by filling a shoebox with gifts in partnership with
Samaritan’s Purse. Collection Sunday is November 15, 2015.
WOMEN’S RETREAT: Please see the registration table next to the snack
table for details about this exciting event to be held November 6-8!
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: All ladies are invited to join in a study called
“Seamless,” which focuses on the unifying message of the Bible from
Genesis through Revelation. The study meets monthly at Berlin Church,
with the next meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 10 (10:00 – 11:30 AM). Please
note the Response Form if you would like a study book.
TRAINING HEARTS AND TEACHING MINDS: Question 36: What
benefits in this life go with or come from justification, adoption, and
sanctification? Answer: The benefits that in this life go with or come from
justification, adoption, and sanctification are: the assurance of God’s love,
peace of conscience, joy in the Holy Spirit, and growing and persevering in
grace to the end of our lives. (The Westminster Shorter Catechism)
