Optimising the size of milk powder bags to increase the holding capacity of
pallets and reduce pallet shrink wrap, resulting in increased capacity of
transport and shipping containers and reduced transport and handling costs.
Upgrade to a more efficient mechanical cutting machine which can cut
longer lengths of sheet metal. The project will lead to increased output per
unit of sheet metal, reduced wastage and improved energy efficiency.
Installation of machinery to automate the movement and measuring of flour
to mixers. The project will increase yield, quality and product output.
A range of lighting upgrades and energy efficiency improvements including
installation of energy efficient LED and security lighting, installation of timers
for hot water units, draft seals on external doors and shading on north facing
air-conditioning condensers.
Optimisation of the existing heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC)
system through compressor optimisation technology, replacement of
inefficient lighting with LED and fluorescent lighting and installation of an
advanced Energy Management System to continually monitor the energy
performance of each site and minimise consumption.
Installation of insulation and cladding to stainless steel wine tanks will
optimise refrigeration systems, provide more efficient cooling and energy
savings.
Optimisation of refrigeration plant equipment and glass door heaters to
reduce energy use, installation of computer control system to improve
heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC)
Replacement of existing high bay lighting with LED lights and installation of
