Get any check requests in ASAP. Minimal expenses for November. 2016 Board Elections: ALL positions will be officially voted on President-Heidi Kraemer, Secretary-Jennifer Irlmeier, Player/Parent CoordinatorDarcy Schimmel, Website Content-Randy Buendorf, Website Technical-Matt Feyen All voted and approved Open Positions-Vice President, Corporate Advertising, Gambling Coordinator Discussions to create Gambling Committees: Audit Committee, Monthly Audit/Inventory. Positions to be volunteer positions and count toward Booster volunteer commitment Varsity Banquet Review All positive comments. Posters, Footballs, Pictures were all great. Time of 3 hours was a good amount to eat and cover all speeches. Discussion regarding date-decided that date/time is best. Allows for playoffs and start time allows families to attend. Action items: Darcy will book for Thanksgiving weekend next year, Carol will follow up on storage for the photo wall Gambling Update a) Monthly Inventory Volunteers-3 volunteers helping do inventory tonight at Celts and Shenanigans. Fiscal end of year. b) Financial Update-Net profit $13,950 in October c) Nov/Dec Spend Request-$4,000 for salary; $5,000 supplies; $150 website CG Made Easy $9250 total spend request $20,000 check to Irish Boosters. Jon Thissen motioned, Carol second, unanimously approved d) Gambling Committee Review Committee Updates a) Corporate Membership/Advertising b) Individual Membership/Advertising Don Rosen Contribution Match-Don will match the May donation drive. We will recommend specific earmark for this donation. Steven will follow up with Don to see if he could be available to attend the May meeting. Great motivator Discussed ideas for ‘membership’ c) Website-discussed some division of labor for Matt (technical) and Randy(content) d) Volunteers and Player/Parent Activities-discussed how to encourage participation. Utilize NGIN to help coordinate volunteers; email recognition for volunteers at bingo, season help, and other activities. Feel that recognition will parents and make people aware of other opportunities. e) Game Program-memory books were great and appreciated by families. Carol and Pam asked for additional pictures from IYF/SSYFL during Fall 2016. They were a great addition to the programs and received positive feedback. f) Youth Football-survey results90% of comments were positive regarding the program. 9 man football in 3rd grade was a success. Booster donations will be used for helmet reconditioning and new helmets/shoulder pads. There are 2 positions currently open-the 3-6 and 7/8 equipment managers. Keith and Ken did an excellent job. Middle School Football was successful with 3 teams at each grade. This really helps the players develop and gives youth an opportunity to play at multiple positions. g) Coach Erdmann- 9-12 dome time starts next week-a great opportunity for players to continue development in the off season. Middle School off season development details are still being worked out. Will advise when they are finalized. Football for Moms series to connect with youth Moms possible date in August 2016. An opportunity to discuss with Coaches and other parents about football. Open Discussion- Update to the Letter qualifications After Game get together-increase budget for the party, Superfans to wait until Varsity Team arrives so that the players also have opportunity to eat. Add a budget for locker decorations so that volunteer isn’t paying for this activity Marsha is retiring in March 2016. She has been a tremendous help to the Boosters and Football program.
