She has been practicing occupational therapy since 1976, focusing on pediatrics for most of her career. In 1991 Chaye founded Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services, LLC (P.O.T.S.), a private occupational therapy practice that is committed to providing children and families with cutting-edge treatment to empower each child to maximize his/her potential. Chaye holds many certifications including: Sensory Integration & Praxis Tests, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, The Listening Program®, MEDEK and is trained in Floortime. She lectures extensively to audiences of teachers, parents and therapists at universities, schools, pre-schools and in other forums. Aviva Goldwasser, MA, OTR/L Aviva has been part of the P.O.T.S. team since 2002, first as a volunteer and now as an active member of the P.O.T.S. staff, providing occupational therapy to toddlers through teens with a wide variety of challenges. Aviva has advanced training in Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears®, and DIR/Floortime. As a regular contributor to the P.O.T.S. blog, Aviva shares her ideas with parents and teachers on how to incorporate sensory integration, fine motor and Floortime techniques into their daily lives in fun, creative ways. Aviva has a special interest in sensory integration, handwriting, and keyboarding. A dynamic lecturer, she frequently conducts workshops with Dr. Lamm Warburg on sensory integration, handwriting and pre-writing skills for parents and teachers. Aviva is particularly skilled at facilitating significant changes in the classroom, incorporating sensory integration and other strategies to promote student skills, social participation and written communication. Ariela Harcsztark, MA, OTR/L Ariela has been surrounded by pediatric occupational therapy for her whole life as the daughter of an occupational therapist. As a mom of an infant and pre-schooler, she brings a particular sensitivity to parenting challenges and an occupational therapist’s savvy for solutions, that is reflected in her popular parenting blogs.
