Overview and Summary
The Ahmedabad Racquet Academy is a first professional sports academy spread out in a space of 5
acres. The academy is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat operating since May 2011. The academy also runs
a non-profit organization called “Ahmedabad Sports Foundation” which sponsors and supports the
athletes of the academy to achieve the best in their career.
The vision of the Ahmedabad Racquet Academy is to build a world class training facility that produces
great international athletes of sports who will bring pride to India.
The mission of the Ahmedabad Racquet Academy is to address the needs of both serious and leisure
athletes. There is a shortage of world class training facilities for serious sports athletes in India today.
Our Academy will address this need by providing top quality sports infrastructure, highly regarded
international coaches as well. In the coming years, we hope to nurture Indian talent that will eventually
be ranked on an international level. In addition to training world-class athletes, we will also provide
lessons to players at beginner and intermediate levels who are interested in building their skills and
build more awareness about the sports.
At present, we are running 7 tennis courts where we are training 325 tennis athletes on regular basis
and we are in the process of introducing an indoor arena, equipped with all the latest facilities and air
conditioned, which will have 4 Badminton synthetic courts, 2 squash courts, 4 tables for table tennis and
a comfortable space to introduce child fitness and development plan. The indoor arena will also consist
of an executive office, 4 offices for respective sports director, a reception desk, a parent’s lounge and a
pro shop where all the sports merchandising, equipment, accessories etc. will be sold.
We will also be introducing first of its kind a full size artificial football field with the football director’s
office, small training area, changing rooms and a gym of all the latest equipment’s and technology. A
café and a multi cuisine/ continental restaurant spread out in an area of total 6000 sq ft.
At present, we are in the process of raising Rs.50Lacs to meet our yearly expenditures of sports which
include maintenance of the whole academy, merchandising, staff salaries, conducting tournaments and
sponsoring best athletes of the academy. We will also be providing health services through our team of
qualified physiotherapists and other recreational facilities.
We are looking for a “Title Sponsorship” for the academy which is currently available at Rs.50Lacs for
the first year. We are initially looking forward to start with a sponsorship contract of 3 years and we
hope to build this relationship and continue to nurture it.


Our goal is to produce world class athletes who will represent India on international level. We are
currently considered in one of the best tennis academy in India. Our objective is to develop the talented
kids from grass root level and train them to become professional players of the future achieving great
success for India. We have a team of qualified coaches which will work on each level of development of
these kids and prepare them for intense and professional training which is again provided at our
academy to turn them into professional athletes. . Right now we are having 325 players in tennis who
are coming in regularly to learn tennis. We have top 30 players who are participating in national and
international tournaments. Although focusing on preparing athletes we also want to create a supporting
social atmosphere for all players, supporters and sponsors.
To achieve our objectives, we require corporate support with finances required for maintenance of
world class sports facilities at our academy, for players merchandising, staff salaries, conducting
tournaments and sponsoring best athletes of the academy.

Importance of Academy merchandising
The Academy merchandising creates an identity for the academy, its members, fans, and sponsors. This
image creates a lasting memory for those who see academy members wearing the Uniform at events
taking place throughout the community. Academy members feel proud to be a part of an organization
when they are wearing a Uniform. Uniform always arouses curiosity about the organization it
represents. Typically, it generates inquiries about the Academy and its purpose often resulting in new
memberships and more awareness about its sponsors. Without a uniform the academy members would
not be able to train or compete with confidence.

Advancement of sports at Ahmedabad Racquet Academy
In 3 years we have maintained our coaching standards and achieved great success in producing talented
tennis athletes. We have top 30 players who are achieving great success and winning titles on national
and International tournaments.
We have our association with “HEAD” as our sponsor who provide us with balls for training and
tournament match balls. We use 1200 dozen balls every year for to train the tennis players at the
academy. HEAD have sponsored our team of coaches in terms of racquets and HEAD also us with its
products on discounted rate which are sold at the academy. HEAD have also sponsored some of our Top
tennis athletes in terms of products and cash.
