ENCLOSURE - 1
GORAS COW GHEE –THARPARKAR & RATHI BREED DESI COW’S CURD BASED BILONA
GHEE
Cow Ghee is quintessentially the most ancient source of life energy, the only known source of elixir on
mother earth. This is why Cow Ghee has a dominant place in healing and rejuvenating in Ayurveda, and is
abundantly used. There are two types of ghee mentioned in Ayurvedic texts ghee made from butter and ghee
made from curd. Ghee made from butter increases our fat and ghee made from curd nourishes our tissues.
Ghee made from butter increases our cholesterol whereas ghee made from curd decreases our cholesterol.
THE PROCESS BILONA – CHURNING OF CURD
Churning Process in making Ghee is seldom practiced now-a-days as it is time-consuming and costly. But
then it gives tremendous value addition in quality and in spiritual context. GORAS DESI COW’S CURD
BASED BILONA GHEE is made by churning the curd, the process generates a naturally self developed
unique aromatic flavor and texture Moreover since in this process it is the curd being formed by human
friendly bacteria and it digests easily in the human system it gives extra fresh oxygen to the blood which
rejuvenates us, elevates our mood and is excellent for brain development in kids, pregnant and lactating
women, elderly and young.
ATTRIBUTES OF GORAS BILONA GHEE
Desi cows curd based bilona ghee has a broad spectrum of medicinal, cosmetic and health benefits et al.
Among other features curd based bilona ghee has Preventive as well as Curative attributes. Desi cow’s curd
based bilona ghee aids in digestion, in improving IQ levels, balancing hormones and a host of other
benefits. Desi cow Ghee has antiviral and anti cancer properties which comes from its butyric acid content.
Perhaps the most important features of Ghee, when made through the traditional process is that it retains its
pro-biotic properties, provides nourishment to entire tissues of the body and helps rejuvenating the self.
THE LOCATION – INDIAN THAR DESERT ( RAJASTHAN )
The process matters; no less is the Location. The Indian Thar Desert comprises richest plant diversity
despite the prevailing harsh climatic conditions .As the rainfalls are very low in the region the habitat is
greatly influenced by the extreme climate .The livestock depends on grazing on common lands in village.
RAJASTHAN has a vast desert area with extreme hot climate and desi cows here have naturally developed
the best survival attributes. The cow milk from RAJASTHAN is famous for its Quality due to aforesaid
specific reasons. Firstly the availability of organic green fodder. The green fodders are naturally grown in
wilderness without use of any pesticides and are purely organic. Then there are multiple species of green
fodder – some plants, some herbs, others bushes, grass and all other sorts; some has medicinal values and
others nutritional. Important medicinal herbs and shrubs like shankhpushpi, ashwaganda, dudhi, saathi
big and small, senna, safed musli, guggal, isabhgol, mulhatti et al So, cattle get a balanced food,
naturally grown, which in turn enhances the quality of milk it gives.
THE INDIAN DESI BREED – THARPARKAR COW
Tharparkar is an important dual purpose breed raised primarily for its milking potential. The name
"Tharparkar" has been derived from the place of its origin- The THAR desert. The home tract of this breed
is in the Tharparkar district of western Rajasthan .
THE INDIAN DESI BREED – RATHI COW
Another important feature of Rajasthan’s Desi breed cow is their surviving ability in the harsh and extreme
conditions. The cattle have to wander through the desert in adverse conditions for grazing .These breeds
have a great ability to reinstate their energy within themselves; the milk too gets these properties. Life
energy is generated within in as much quantity for survival even in the most adverse conditions and this
energy is abundantly contained in their milk which is very useful and important in today’s electronic age
where we are surrounded throughout with all their huge amount of radiations.
This is why and how uniquely GORAS Brand of curd based bilona ghee is developed from the pure and Desi
cow’s (THARPARKAR & RATHI breed) Milk of Rajasthan by indigenously Churning the Curd from Cow
Milk.
THE SPIRITUAL CONTEXT
DESI Cow Ghee from BILONA Process has a dominant place in Hindu Mythology KAMDHENU is
considered as one of the 14 precious RATNAS that comes out in the Ocean Churning Process in search of
AMRITU. According to the Great Yogi Shri. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, translated, among all the
known animals on earth DESI Cow alone has a SURYAKETU NADI - that can absorb the Life Giving
energy from the first rays of The Sun. This energy is absorbed in our blood in golden yellow color elementnamed Carotene. This is why all the products made from cow milk is yellow in color.
THE SOCIAL CONTEXT
Having narrated in some detail the benefits from the RATHI & THARPARKAR – it will not be out-of-place
to emphasize the necessity, rather our responsibility, to ensure the social and economic well being of the
herd-men and their families. While promoting the product with all its intrinsic values we, in the process,
are ensuring a more noble cause - the economic and social protection to all those who take care of their
herd, not looking elsewhere for greener pastures.
