In “Raising Bilingual Children” I choose this diagram because when I read the text I realized that the topic could be summarized
in a simple diagram. I could highlight the importance of making children bilingual. I think that pointing out the importance of making
children bilingual is essential because they need another language when they have to communicate in societies. Also, a diagram of the
information shows how the main ideas are related and reflects the organization of the information. It reflects the main points in the text
making references with the different types of bilingualism and meanings there are. The information which could be included in the
diagram is very important and shows one essential part of the text I have read. When we read a text and we have to take notes in order
to summarize it, it is a good tool to do diagrams. In the text I have read, it is very useful this kind of diagrams since the text is easily to
understand. You don´t need to go back to the text because the diagram includes everything you need in order to understand the main
topic.
“Men and Women” is easy to summarize. I choose a diagram to summarize it. I think that it is important to include what women
expect from men, and what men expect from women in order to understand each other.. So, I think that it is essential to highlight in
the diagram the different feelings which are generated when men and women fightThe diagram helps me to underline these topics and
make them more important than they are in the text. In the text there seem to be more words, but when I extract them from the text and
underline them, they are more easily to understand and memorize. Acceptance and toleration are the most important nouns in order to
have a lovely relationship and to continue the love forever. The diagram is very useful to mark and write down essential words from
the text.
