The management can accept or reject any tender without showing any reasons what so ever.
Only manufacturers or their authorized agents can bid for supply.
The bidder should have VAT / TIN number and trade licence and a registered office.
The supplier should have trained engineers for after sale service / installation.
The bidder should provide a list of name of engineers and their qualification and submit a copy of theirs authorized agent from their
manufacturer. The equipment must be made uptime within 3-5 days after downtime information.
The bidder should agree to enter into maintenance contract and after sales service after warranty period. The bidder should give a
guarantee of supply of spare parts for next 10 years. Quotation for yearly maintenance contract should be submitted along with the
tender.
Preference will be given to bidders who can provide 2 years full warranty and subsequent period of one year with free labour charge but
spare parts costs will be born by Metropolitan Medical Centre Ltd.
The bidder should supply any consumable / regents and the accessories required for commissioning, installing and demonstrating the
equipment in working condition for the user at their own cost in Metropolitan Medical Centre Ltd.
The bidder should provide a catalogue from their manufacturers and a certificate from manufacturer to the effect that the equipments
are brand new and of latest model.
No part supply would be accepted.
The bidder should quote the price in both C&F/CIF and free delivery in local currency.
Appropriate voltage stabilizer / Online UPS if required should be supplied with equipments. The equipments should be Compatible with
local electric supply. Rechargeable batteries should be provided where required.
Required VAT/IT/Security if any would be deducted from total bill of supplier during payment.
The price validity of the items should be valid for next 6 months.
Earnest Money @ 3% of the bid value should be provided at the time of dropping tender in the form of Pay Order/Bank Draft.
Performance guarantee of another 2.5% will have to be provided by those whose tender will be accepted for purchase. It will be
adjusted with 3% earnest money. The performance guarantee may be in the form of pay order/draft which will be released after
successful installation and handing over the equipments in working condition.
Delivery and commissioning schedule should be strictly maintained. Otherwise a penalty of Tk. 5000/- (five thousand) per day for
equipment costing upto Tk. 20 lacs, Tk. 10000/- (ten thousand) per day for equipment costing between 20-50 lacs and Tk. 15000/(fifteen thousand) per day for equipment costing more than 50 lacs will be imposed upon the supplier.
