Nottinghamshire Basketball Association in conjunction with Graham Blankley, Nottingham Hoods Are pleased to offer Basketball coaches in Nottinghamshire the opportunity to attend a FREE BASKETBALL COACHING & PERFORMANCE SEMINAR Presented by Valdan Draosavac Basketball England, Technical & Performance / Performance Pathway Manager on SUNDAY 17TH MAY 2015 AT The Nottingham Widlcat Arena From 10am – 2pm Serbian, Vladan Dragosavac has been in his post since 2012 reporting to both the Head Of Performance at British Basketball, Warwick Cann and Basketball England. He works specifically on the England Talent pathway with a focus on coaches' development. In 2010/2011, Vladan was Director of Association of basketball coaches for the Voivodina region of Serbia as part of the Serbian Association of Basketball Coaches where he developed educational programmes for more than 400 coaches of all levels. In 2009 he was Head Coach and Director of Basketball and Player Development of BC Vojvodina Novi Sad in the 1.B Serbian League. Warwick Cann has worked closely with Vladan on the development of elite basketball players in the UK and he commented on the appointment: "The Performance Pathway Manager position is another step in the right direction for both British Basketball and England Basketball. The seminar will include an explanation of the player pathway, how the 'British Style' of coaching and its introduction has brought success, details on the coaching method proposed and how it can be adopted by area coaches from schools to clubs to county teams.
