Courses Qualifying as “First-Year Elective” for Section 7 Students in 2015-2016
Section 7 students (including students who plan to transfer to the full-time division as of Fall
2015) must complete their first-year elective requirement in any semester of their choice before
graduation. Students who wish to designate one of the eligible courses listed below as their
elective requirement should notify the Registrar’s Office at lawreg@law.georgetown.edu by the
following deadlines:
Fall 2015 courses:
5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015
Spring 2016 courses: 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016
A notation course will be placed on your transcript after the add/drop period indicating that the
course has been designated as meeting your elective requirement. Please note that elective
courses may not be taken pass/fail.
