The Graphic Design program focuses on the basics of good design through the iterative design process: problem definition, analysis, idea exploration, idea development, focus, refinement, and production. As the field of Graphic Design covers everything from traditional print design to Web site design to motion graphics, the Cowley College program focuses on a solid grounding in the principles of good design. From this firm foundation, the student can expand to any of the many visual communication careers. Students seeking an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design will most likely have the intent to transfer to a four-year institution.
