Initiatives undertaken to Promote Print in Ireland
Currently in an ambassadorial role with Geraldine O’Reilly for the Printmakers Council. We
are helping organise a touring exhibition in Ireland which will include lectures and
workshops. The aim is to introduce new artists to Ireland, promote printmaking and be a
focal point within the country for the ten print studios which exist here to meet and interact
with the Printmakers Council. So far we have a major exhibition confirmed in Farmleigh
Gallery, Dublin for2016 and two other venues down in the country pencilled to follow.
Currently working with Printmaker Camilla J Fanning in the currating of an exhibition to
take place in the Graphic Studio Gallery, 2016, where we hope to bring a selection of
international artists’ work on view which has not been shown in Ireland before.
