gallery elena shchukina Luke Jerram Biography: Bristol-based artist Luke Jerram (b. 1974) studied at University of Gloucestershire (1994), St. Lawrence University, New York (1996), and received a first class Degree UWIC from Cardiff Metropolitan University (1997). His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions every year since 1997; a list of exhibitions from 2013 to the present is included below. He has received grants from the British Council and the ACE Grants for the Arts Programme and has had several residencies, including one at the Museum of Glass in Washington. He is currently performing a research fellowship at CFPR, University of West of England (2012-2015), and has received numerous awards, including the Institute of Medical Image Award in 2007. His work is on display in many public and private institutions, among which include the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Wellcome Collection. His public installation ‘Play Me, I’m Yours’ has been featured in cities worldwide, including New York City, Paris, and Sydney.
