‘Spring’ into Action this Season with SPIRO

With Spring promising to be a milder season, runners, cyclists and outdoor sports
enthusiasts will be looking for lighter, less robust activewear to complement their fitness
regime.
However, milder doesn’t necessarily mean dryer or warm.
Activewear brand SPIRO is offering fitness enthusiasts a range of
sports garments that offer both lightweight, breathable fabrics for
comfort in milder temperatures, and waterproof and windproof
protection when inevitable April showers are never far away.
The affordable range of high performance sportswear uses fast
wicking and highly breathable fabrics such as COOL DRY and
QUICK DRY. These work with the body during periods of
extended exertion to keep it cool and comfortable when training in
warmer temperatures – ideal for the changeable British weather!
A lighter option, and new to the SPIRO collection, the S262M&F Airflow Softshell
Gilet (men’s S62M SRP £13, ladies S262F SRP £12) is windproof and features a
Quick Dry finish. The 2 layer soft shell has a mesh back panel for breathability. The
gilet is ideal to throw on for running, cycling and other exertive sporting activities
when you want protection without the bulk of a jacket. The S262M&F Airflow
Softshell Gilet features reflective piping on the back contour panels and front print
details for added visibility in darker conditions, a full front zip with inner storm flap, a
stand up collar, bound armholes for robustness and an elasticated hem with rubber
grip to stop the garment riding up. It is available in sizes S-3XL for men and 8-16 for
ladies in Black and Neon Green/Black.
The waterproof, breathable and windproof, S185X Crosslite Trail &
Track Jacket is designed with comfort and protection in mind. Perfect
for any exertive activity jacket features lightweight ventilated quick-drying
fabric which keeps skin cool and comfortable, while the neon fabric and
reflective detailing increases visibility in low light conditions. Retailing at
33.50, the S185X Crosslite Trail & Track Jacket provides
necessary protection from the elements when running or
cycling and can be packed down into its own belted stuff sack
when the weather brightens up, for added convenience. It is
available in sizes S-2XL.
Ideal for both trail and road running, as well as biking, the S251M&F Bodyfit Base
Layer Leggings (men’s S251M SRP £15, ladies S251F SRP £13) are breathable and
feature Quick Dry Treatment Performance fabric with added fast moisture wicking
control to keep the skin cool and comfortable. They feature contour fit panels and are
constructed from micro soft athletic stretch fabric for freedom of movement. There is
also a zip closing key pocket positioned on the outside back centre. The Bodyfit Base
Layer Leggings are available in black only, sizes 8-18 for ladies
and XS-2XL for men
An ideal training top when the temperature is still a little cool, the
lightweight and highly breathable S170M&F SPIRO Sprint Base
Top (SRP £31.50) is made with high stretch fabric which is quick
drying and actively wicks away perspiration, helping to regulate
temperature. The flattering fit of the ladies S170F combines high
performance with a sleek feminine look and is available sizes 8-16, while
the S170M for men is looser fitting with a comfortable masculine cut and
is available in sizes XS-2XL. Both styles are available in Black/Red and
Black/Grey colourways.
A short sleeve wicking tee at only £6, the S253M&FPerformance Quick Dry
Short Sleeve T-Shirt is a quick-dry base layer, which rapidly wicks moisture to
keep skin cool and comfortable. This lightweight t-shirt has an ultra-reflecting
logo for added visibility in low light conditions and is available in sizes 8-16 for
ladies and S-XXL for men in Black, Navy, White and Lime Green.
