POSITION: Pharmacy Assisting Adjunct Instructor @ Hutchings Career Center (Part-Time)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is for Fall Semester. Instructor’s responsibilities are centered on preparing and teaching classes as assigned. Duties include: lecture, lab instruction activities, student advisement, registration, and other duties as defined by the Technical College System of Georgia.
Classes will be taught at Hutchings Career Center in Macon, GA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

An Associate degree in a related health field.
A minimum of three years’ paid work experience within the past seven years in a clinical environment.
Must be registered with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy and a National Certified Pharmacy
Technician.
Must be nationally certified through PTCB.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior teaching or training experience in a clinic or postsecondary educational environment.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of current Pharmacy Technology laws, rules, and regulation procedures.
SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary varies depending on course. Adjunct faculty positions are not eligible for
State benefits.
