Hold up pictures and ask students what it is (e.g. hold a picture of someone with a
headache- students should say “headache”). Keep the words written on the board
behind them so students can use that as a clutch.
Repeat the words students have difficulty with 2-3 times
Now hold up pictures again, but this time, take away the clutch so that the students
can’t see the words on the board. This allows them to practice remembering the words.
Activity: Charades- Put sicknesses in a bag/hat and have students pick out a sickness to
act out. Let students guess the sickness.
