Born of Divine Life our three churches unfold like leaves of one tree of life. Each church is unique in character, yet all are bonded in one baptismal call – becoming One Body, professing One Faith, and living One Mission. Encircled by wheels of collaboration in building the Kingdom of God, we reach out to all four corners of the world proclaiming by the testament of our lives the saving power of Christ’s Cross. CATHOLIC COMMUNITIES OF TRI-PARISH VISION Social Concerns and Community Life PENTECOST SUNDAY June 8 2014 Ministry Schedule June 14-15, 2014 Mass Schedule and Intentions Sat June 7 HT 5:00 PM 9:00 AM NO NOON “Holy Spirit, the Lord and life-giver.” These words are in the Creed. Today we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit; he came to bestow a share in divine life upon God’s chosen and covenanted people. There is sound, wind and fiery light as signs of the gift. People experience the reversal of the fall of Babel. Everyone hears in his or her own language the Apostles speaking. They speak about the marvels of God. The Spirit is given to each for a good purpose—building up Christ’s body. Veni Creator Spiritus! 5:00 PM Text, Philip J. Sandstrom, STD © 2001, OCP. All rights reserved. Illustration © 2001 M.
