Along with the Community Development Department, assist the residential and business community in recovery. RESOURCES Personnel Neighborhood Services Department Administrator (1) Community Compliance Supervisor (1) Neighborhood Services Coordinator (1) Community Compliance Specialists (5) Staff Assistant (1) In the event that a management employee is unavailable to perform the tasks for his/her position, an employee has been designated to fulfill the primary employee's responsibilities: Primary: Neighborhood Services Administrator Secondary: Community Compliance Supervisor Vehicles (located at Neighborhood Services Department building) Compact Pick-Up Truck w/ radio (1) - Community Compliance Supervisor Compact Pick-Up Trucks w/ radios (5) - Community Compliance Specialists Chevy Impala w/ radios (2) - Pool/Spare Vehicles Equipment Laptops o Community Compliance Supervisor (1) o Community Compliance Specialists (5) Cellular Telephones-City Issued Androids o Community Compliance Supervisor (1) o Community Compliance Specialist (1) o Community Compliance Specialists (4*) *Normally left in office on desk chargers – Administrator may instruct Specialists to take them home prior to the storm City of Pinellas Park Hurricane Response Plan 2015 OPERATIONS PLAN CONDITION 5: Tropical Weather Outlook – Monitoring Tropical Activity Department Administrator to review Disaster Plan with all Department staff, with attention to specific duties and responsibilities and possible alternatives in the event of an emergency. Department Administrator to keep all Department staff contact information updated; revise as needed. Maintain all Department vehicles; make repairs as needed. Maintain all Department communication devices (laptops and Droids); make repairs as needed. CONDITION 4: Hurricane Alert – Advisory Indicating Potential Threat Department Administrator to alert all Department staff of the emergency conditions and continue to monitor conditions. Department Administrator to confirm contact information for all Department staff, advise of callback procedures and response requirements after landfall and upon reentry. Check all Department vehicles, fill gas tanks/keep gas tanks full and make repairs (if feasible). Check all Department communication devices (laptops and Droids); charge as needed/keep charged and make repairs (if feasible). Collect and disseminate information as necessary. CONDITION 3: Hurricane Watch – Landfall Minus 48 to 36 hours Begin to secure all Neighborhood Services Department facilities to protect records, equipment, and supplies from potential water damage. Where possible, store records in a safe location to reduce the threat of water. Refuel all Department vehicles; park them on the paved parking lot on the south side of the Neighborhood Services Department offices. For all Department communication devices (laptops and Droids), ensure they are fully charged. (Note: Administrator may instruct staff to take laptops and/or Droids home with them prior to the storm.) Department Administrator will review callback procedures and response requirements with all Department staff, and will maintain communications with EOC and all Department staff members. CONDITION 2: Hurricane Warning – Evacuation Order - Landfall Minus 36 to 24 hours Department Administrator will maintain communications with EOC and all Department staff members. CONDITION 1: Landfall Minus 24 to 12 hours Department Administrator will maintain communications with EOC and all Department staff members. City of Pinellas Park Hurricane Response Plan 2015 LANDFALL MINUS 12 to 0 HOURS Department Administrator will strive to maintain communications via any available method with EOC and all Department staff members. POST STORM / RE-ENTRY As soon as conditions allow, Department Administrator will determine condition, location, and availability of all Department staff members, and will provide response instructions. As soon as resources allow, Department Administrator will assess current condition of Neighborhood Services Department facility, vehicles, equipment, records, and property and report damage to City EOC. All Department staff members will assemble in the Neighborhood Services Conference Room (or assigned location) for a briefing and assignment of tasks. Along with Community Development Department, assist in the collection and dissemination of information – including Detailed Damage Assessment after Initial Damage Assessment is completed. Along with Community Development Department, assist the residential and business community in recovery. Staff members not assisting the Community Development Department will carry out the mission of the Neighborhood Services Department.
