ENTRY FEES
Saturday (all classes)
$2.00 per class (Pay to Steward of each Ring)
No Refund for any events.
ENTRY CONDITIONS
 The rules and regulations of the Oberon Show Society Inc, as in the full Show Schedule,
apply.
 Drug Testing may be carried out at this Show.
 PARTICIPANTS INDEMNITY & WAIVER MUST be completed, signed and submitted at
the Show Horse Office before entering any event.
-PIC NUMBERS MUST BE INCLUDED
-The waiver form must also be completed by handlers.
-WRISTBANDS MUST be worn at all times.
- Only a parent or guardian may sign a waiver for competitors under 18yrs.
 Exhibitors must pay entry to the showground
$10.00 per adult per day. $5.00 per age pensioner/child per day
 Exhibitors compete at their own risk.
 All riders under the age of 18 must wear a helmet, complying with Australian Standard
AS3838, when competing at the Oberon Show.
 The Committee strongly advises the wearing of ASA approved safety helmets by all
riders at all times whilst mounted on a horse for the duration of the equestrian events
at the 2014 Oberon Show.
 Stallion handlers must be 18 years and over. Stallions are not eligible to compete in
Hack Ring.
 Stewards reserve the right to ask for the removal from the ring of any horse deemed to
be out of control of handler or rider or a danger to any other person.
 Oberon Show Society Inc. RECOMMENDS horses to be vaccinated against Hendra
Virus.
 Camping available at the Showground at a cost of $10 per night
 No protests entered into. Judges decision is final.
 Lunch break between 12.30pm and 1pm
PRIZEMONEY
Saturday: 1st- $2.00 & Ribbon, 2nd and 3rd- Ribbons only.
DEFINITIONS
Consolation events are for horses or riders who have not won a 1st or 2nd prize on the day of
the show.
Local: A Local rider is a rider or a horse owned by an exhibitor who is a resident of the Oberon
Shire or a member of the Oberon Pony Club.
Hack/Show Hunter: A horse or pony may only compete on Ring 1 and 2 as EITHER a Hack
or Show Hunter.
Novice Any horse or rider is one that has not won a first place at any Agricultural or Royal
Show.
Pleasure Hack A horse or pony to be ridden in a Snaffle bit only. No Whips, Spurs or
Martingales.
NO CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM WILL BE MADE ON THE DAY
