We are able to provide this training to you because of grant dollars received from the
SD Department of Health (Public Health Preparedness and Response). Broselow
Triage Training is designed for pre-hospital and emergency room professionals and it
includes the correct use of the Broselow Pediatric Emergency Tape (study packet and
review of equipment on-hand) and incorporating that into use with the Broselow/Hinkle
Resuscitation System, use of the standardized triage tag, as well as training scenarios.
Pre-hospital personnel participate as they bring the pediatric patients to the facility and
provide triage. Patients are then transferred to the hospital and staff who will manage
the patient care using a simulation manikin and the Broselow Pediatric Resuscitation
System training equipment.
