First Mass of Sunday
Welcome to our Celebration Today
During the Sung Mass, the Sunday School meets in the
Ringing Chamber, they gather during the first hymn
and return in time for the peace. Please ask the
Sidespersons for directions. The Walsingham room
is also available as a crèche room for young people
who need a break during the service. At the end of Mass
please stay and join us for coffee and refreshments.
The green books have the Order of Service in them,
while the hymns are found in the bigger green book.

Readings for Sunday 3rd May:

Parade Service
At 2.30pm today, the uniformed organisations will be
parading from Fiveways to St Mary’s to commemorate
St George. The parade will conclude with a special
service, during which promises will be renewed and the
year’s achievements celebrated. Everyone welcome!
Volunteering Talk: Palestine
Jennifer Hammond is now back having completed three
months of volunteering in Palestine. If you are
interested in hearing about her experiences, she will be
at Church holding a talk this Thursday.
Big Burnham Book Sale
Will take place here on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May
from 10.00am to 3.30pm. Helpers needed to set up and
on the day. If you can help, please let Tony Young know.
Canterbury Cathedral Visit
Dengie Probus Club are organising a visit to Canterbury
Cathedral and City on Thursday 4th June leaving at
8am. The cost including a guided tour is £22. If anyone
would like to go on the trip, please see Jim Cousins.
Children’s Society Box Opening
Many thanks to all Box Holders for this year’s
contributions which totalled £561.92, £60 up on last
