Daily homework for 2nd grade Chinese students should be done within 15-25 minutes. If there are take-home sheet for either Chinese or math, please work on them first and return to class the next day.

Math (If you find your kids are struggling with adding 9 + 8 or 16 – 8, then you can focus on 2.1 practices. It is so important to have a solid foundation in up to 20 addition and subtraction. I recommend every student choose appropriate difficulty level (5 stars are hardest) to practice for 5-

10 minutes a day or 20 math questions per day, 4-5 days a week) .
