Graduate Programs in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry and Structural Biology Annual Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training Update NIH mandates require that RCR training of eight or more hours be carried out every four years after initial formal training. Most of you will be carrying out this training for your students for at least 2 hours per year as part of your lab meetings and face-to-face discussions. We need to document this training. The consequences of not documenting this training at group meetings is that students who are still here more than 4 years after receiving formal classwork based RCR training in GRD 500 will have to repeat GRD 500 prior to graduation. Please fill out the following form and return to the Biochemistry and Structural Biology or Molecular and Cell Biology Office (Joann.Delucia-Conlon@stonybrook.edu). Training received during academic year Sept. 20 to May 20 . How many hours did you talk about these NIH mandated issues in your group meetings or in other face-to-face contacts with students in your lab?
