A total of 5808 head of cattle were penned at Roma’s Store Sale. Weaners under
220kg topped at 212c/kg and averaged 188c/kg, while weaner steers in the 220280kg range reached 210c/kg and averaged 183c/kg. Steers in the 280-350kg range
reached 212c/kg and averaged 189c/kg, and steers in the 350-400kg range reached
209c/kg and averaged 192c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-550kg range topping at
210c/kg and averaging 190c/kg.
Clarke & Tait, Powella, Aramac, sold Santa steers to 212c/kg for 291kg to return
$617/head.
Sioux Syn Brahmans, Coalbah, Glenmorgan, sold Angus-cross steers to 210c for
258kg to return $542.
