It is hereby agreed as follows
1. Sponsorship Period
1.1.
Note the beginning and end of the sponsorship period
1.2.
Some companies may wish to conduct a review of a group’s
activity at a mid-point of the period
1.3.
You may wish to input a clause whereby either party can
withdraw from a non-beneficial contract at a certain prearranged point in the year

2. Sponsorship Fee
2.1.
Subject to the terms and conditions outlined below and agreed
between the Sponsor and the Recipient, the Sponsor agrees to
pay [amount]
2.2.
Some groups and companies prefer the sponsorship fee to be
split into two instalments, one around November, and one
around February. This can be so sponsors can review the group’s
activity, and also so groups can anticipate incoming funds to
help with budgeting. You should detail when sponsorship invoices
will be submitted to the company
2.3.
Detail how the money will be transferred – eg, bank transfer,
cheque
2.4.
The Recipient acknowledges and confirms that, save as
otherwise expressly recorded in this Agreement; The Sponsor shall
not be liable to The Recipient or any other person for any
additional cost or expense besides the annual Sponsorship Fee
3. Recipient’s obligations
3.1.
EG: the Recipient agrees to use the Sponsor’s venue for socials a
minimum of twice a term
3.2.
EG: the Recipient agrees to use the Sponsor’s logo on all kit
3.3.
EG: the Recipient agrees to exclusively use the Sponsor’s
company for all club purchases
3.4.
EG: the Recipient agrees to like/share/retweet the Sponsor’s
posts on social media at least twice a term
3.5.
EG: the Recipient agrees to display the Sponsor’s promotional
literature at the Welcome Fair

4. Sponsor’s obligations
4.1.
The Sponsor agrees to pay the agreed sum within six weeks of
invoice from the Recipient, where invoices are submitted at the
date/s outlined above
4.2.
EG: The Sponsor agrees to supply three committee members with
‘free entry’ cards to the venue
4.3.
EG: The Sponsor agrees to offer group members a 20% discount
on all purchases from the company
4.4.
EG: The Sponsor agrees to provide space for a networking event
for the group during Term two
5. Termination
5.1. You may wish to have it in writing that either party may terminate
the contract if the other party is not fulfilling their obligations.
5.2. It can be useful to agree on ‘warning period’. For example
5.3. The Sponsor agrees that the Recipient may terminate the
contract if the Sponsor does not pay the agreed sum within ten
weeks of invoice
5.4. The Recipient agrees that the Sponsor send an email of concern
if they feel the Recipient is not fulfilling their obligations
5.5. The Recipient agrees that the Sponsor may terminate the
contract if, four weeks after receiving an email of concern, the
Recipient continues to fail in fulfilling their obligations
