The title of the book I chose is the third edition of Careers in Psychology: Opportunities
in a Changing World by authors Tara L. Kuther and Robert D. Morgan. The code on the side of
the book was: REF-HF-5381-K88X-2010.
The main reason I chose this resource was because I am majoring in psychology and I’m
still unsure of exactly what I want to be. For example, I always considered becoming an
Industrial Organizational Psychologist, but I also want to pursue the career of a Psychiatrist; I’m
stuck between those two and a few more. This resource book contains great information about all
the types of psychology such as legal and forensic psychology, health psychology, school
psychology, etc. This book definitely sealed my future for me, it answered all my questions and
helped me find my fit to become an industrial-organizational psychologist through its
questionnaire at the end of every chapter. I have a few friends who are also majoring in the field
of psychology who I would absolutely show this book to.
The book, Careers in Psychology: Opportunities in a Changing World, nine different
types of psychology and all of the jobs associated with those types. For example, one of the types
is school psychology and in that chapter, the book discusses job descriptions, salaries, if it's right
for you, etc, about jobs such as a teacher, childcare worker, teacher assistant, and much more.
The book also informs you on what field is right for you and what to do after graduation all

related to psychology. This book is absolutely shocking and amazing; I have nothing bad to say
about it except for the fact that it should discuss a little more on salaries.
