PLUS, tons of appliances, car parts, construction materials, 55 gallon drums, signs and highway
cones, pipes, appliances, furniture, and other stuff too big for bags.
Weird Trash Award: Each year, teams nominate the weirdest trash they have found along the
river. Past finds include: birdcage, kitchen sink, Caspar the Ghost decoration, plastic cactus, guns,
rubber shark, chicken and turtle, religious statue,”tushkins”, a 1905 NJ birth certificate and a 1907
grammar book. We are amazed at the number of balls we find from every imaginable sport!
