PRESS RELEASE NET4GAS TO DONATE 700 THOUSAND CROWNS TO CHARITY PROJECTS OF ITS EMPLOYEES Prague, June 16, 2014 – NET4GAS provides ongoing support to employees who dedicate their free time to working on projects for a good cause. In 2014, the company will donate over CZK 700,000, with the sum to be distributed among more than 30 projects. NET4GAS will make use of the Companius program to provide assistance to organizations that focus on environmental protection, activities for children, senior citizens, and handicapped persons, as well as various other undertakings. Grant applications are to be filed by employees taking part in the implementation of individual projects. "We are happy to see our employees involved in helping others, and we want to assist them in their endeavors," explains NET4GAS's Senior Public Relations Specialist, Zuzana Kučerová. Every application filed by an employee is reviewed by a committee with a view to the firm's criteria for awarding grants. Financial assistance is provided on the condition that the applicant is personally involved in the given project or organization. In this way, NET4GAS's Companius program helps charities obtain funds for such purposes as the purchase of equipment or the lease of sports facilities. The amount of individual donations ranges between 15 and 40 thousand crowns. One example of the projects supported by NET4GAS is Getting Well with Licorice: Always Enriching the Life of Patients in the Thomayer Hospital, through which the Licorice Civil Association assists sick persons undergoing therapy. Sizeable donations will also be given to Protebe (For You) and People In Need for organizing an integrated camp for children and young people with medical disabilities, and a summer camp for endangered children, respectively. An extraordinary donation will be paid to a kindergarten and elementary school run by the ČCE Special Deaconry for canistherapy and hippotherapy programs, as part of which contact with dogs and horses will be used to facilitate the rehabilitation and psychosocial adjustment of children. "Our donations usually do not cover the entire budget of a project, but we believe that they provide sizeable support, and that they motivate people to engage in further charity work," adds Kučerová. The CZK 701,630 allocated to donations this year will be distributed among 33 nonprofit organizations. Milan Řepka Public Relations Officer NET4GAS, s.r.o.
