November 26th - Sandwich-making with the Homeless Ministry and delivery to Skid Row: 6-7pm, Caruso Catholic Center (intersection of 32nd and Hoover) ALL MONTH LONG - Food drive: Deliver canned and packaged foods to the GSG office in TCC 224 or to any Homelessness and Hunger Awareness Event Happy Hour at Barbara’s When: Thursday, November 7th, 2013 from 5:00-7:00PM Where: Barbara's at the Brewery (620 Moulton Ave. #110 Los Angeles CA 90031) Event Details: Come relax, eat, and drink with your fellow HSC graduate students at Barbara's for happy hour! $2 off all draft and $4 off all well drinks between 56pm! GSG will provide a $5 voucher per person to go towards an appetizer or entree. Movie Night at LA Live: November 8, 2013 Join GSG for a Movie Night at LA Live. LA Live is metro accessible so there is no need to drive. Just hop on the expo towards downtown and get off at LA Live. Sign up for tickets will begin on November 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. There is a two person limit on tickets. GSG Homecoming Week Happy Hour: November 12 Some food and beverages and all around good conversation as we show our Graduate Student Spirit for Homecoming Week. Look out for more details forthcoming as to location. GSG Winter Formal: November 14! GSG is taking you to the Gatsby Era with this year's Winter Formal! The Radisson is lending us there grand ball room to host our Winter Formal this year! There will be DJ so you can show off your moves. If you don't want to dance, don't fret. We have you covered too! There will also be casino games to keep you entertained. Not a card shark, there will also be food and plenty of drink to go around at the cash bar! Rumor has it that there will also be a photo booth and some prize given aways too so save the date and get to planning because you never want to miss a Gatsby Party, old sport! Tickets will be $10. Tickets will be available on November 1. Project Knucklehead Fundraiser at Traddie's 11/15, 7-9pm, Traddies Free food! Giveaways! Discounted drinks! Come out to support local at-risk youth and have a good time. Physical Therapy Multicultural Leadership Alliance Ethnic-Style Dinner Event: "Ethnic Style Dinner" When: Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 5:00 PM Where: Green Lawn next to the Zilka Building Event Details: PTMLA will be holding this event in hopes of raising funds for our students to go to several mission trips abroad throughout the year. Tickets will be $7 in advance, $10 the day of. There will be a wide variety of food from different parts of the world. When: Sunday, November 24th at 9:00AM Where: Exposition Park near USC Main Campus Event Details: “We Run the City is an annual 5K rivalry run that supports the athletes of Special Olympics Southern California. Official timing will be carried out for this race. Students, alumni, and fans of USC and UCLA will compete for bragging rights and the We Run the City trophy. GSG Presents - Experience LA!
