Sustamine® is the brand name given to Kyowa Hakko’s dipeptide, L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine and has recently been approved for use in the EU under novel foods legislation.

ATP (Adenosine 5’ – triphosphate disodium salt trihydrate)

ATP is one of the most well-known, important molecules involved in energy production in all living cells.
As a dietary supplement ingredient, the health benefits of ATP far exceeds the fundamental importance of this molecule as an energy source for living cells.
A recently published double blind, placebo controlled clinical study has shown that taking 400mg of
ATP (Adenosine-5-triphosphate) per day has shown significant benefits to athletes over a 15 day period. The study which was published by the JISSN (journal of the society of sports nutrition) demonstrated that taking 400mg of ATP over 2 daily doses, reduced muscle fatigue and improved an athlete’s ability to maintain a higher force output at the end of an exhaustive exercise bout. This is thought to be as a result of increased blood flow and oxygenation of tissues resulting in faster removal of metabolic waste products allowing muscles to accomplish more work with less fatigue.
