Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd. and Indian Journal of Ophthalmology is organizing A very
prestigious meet called Clinicians & Researchers in Vision & Ophthalmology Symposium &
Workshop (CARVES) from 5th to 7th November 2013 post Asia ARVO in Mumbai. CARVES
Meet & Workshop would focus on promoting excellence in the field of ophthalmic clinical/basic
sciences research and epidemiology. It would provide an opportunity as a forum for interfacing
clinicians and basic science researchers to exchange and share their expertise. The disciplines to
be covered in the event are clinical ophthalmology, genetics, stem cell, cell based therapy, gene
therapy, translational research, epidemiology, library resources in research, etc. The meet and
workshop should provide a wonderful opening for bridging national and international
collaborations in the field of ophthalmology.
The faculty participating include Drs. Gyan John Prakash, Dr. Pamela Sieving & Dr. James
Fielding Hejtmancik from National Institute of Health, Dr Cathy McCarthy from Essentia
Institute of Rural Health in addition to renowned international faculty and faculty from across
India.
