Functions & Responsibilities













Good understanding of diagrams, interpretation of electrical layouts, and
implementing such diagrams for BTS sites
Acts as a project support/control to Operations Manager, handling all tasks
associated to Grid Power at all sites
Carry out day-to-day follow-ups and trakcing (SBCs) for new Grid Power
installations at sites including: power poles, transformers, power cables, Grid
panels and meters, etc… (for medium tension and low tension)
Assure all documentation and permits required for new sites connectivity are
obtained within effective time frames
Manage, communicate, and resolve all Grid Power availability issues arising
at sites (reported by operational teams). Assign approved SBCs for efficient
resolution of any contingency hindering power being supplied to sites
Ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of all Grid Power
elements
Manage, collect, verify, and check availability of all Grid Power bills for all
sites. Ensure no service disruption because of pending bills or payments
Update and track ownership of all sites installed and operational transformers
(check handing over timelines)
Preparation and control of departments’ expenses, invoices, purchase orders,
vendor’s reconciliations with finance department. Manage all SBCs invoices
and advice payments
Handling of department logistics and material movement (in & out) to regions
where needed. Communicate and record updates from supervisors/engineers
at sites
Liaises with Operations Manager on updates and site issues
Update all tracking sheets and follow up on site documentation
Generate required reports to Operations Manager
Qualification

Professional Requirements
First degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum
Experience

A minimum of 5 years cognate experience

(transformers ownership), maintenance, and billing
