In more recent years he continued his studies with David Sanger. He is now director of music at St George’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Southwark, as well as musical director of the Alleyn Singers. In addition to his CD recordings, he has performed as organ soloist in many of the major venues in the UK, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, St John’s College and King’s College Cambridge, the Temple Church, St Mary-Le-Bow, St Michael’s Cornhill, Coventry Cathedral and Southwark Anglican Cathedral. Norman has also performed in Germany, France, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Australia and the USA, including the National Cathedral, Washington DC. He has broadcast solo recitals on BBC Radio 3 and accompanied numerous choral services on BBC Radio and TV. Recitals during 2015 include Christchurch Priory, All Saints’ Leamington Spa, St Stephen’s Walbrook, St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, Ripon Cathedral and Tewkesbury Abbey.
