- present PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER
 Lead developer and software architect for image uploads and graphics processing.
Managed a team of four full-time engineers. Career manager to one engineer.
 Scaled uploads architecture to thirty times original size. Developed and managed a
system of globally distributed servers using hundreds of CPUs. This system performs
on-demand graphics processing to support a billion-dollar-per-year design-and-print
operation. It can serve more than two million new uploads per day.
 Built frameworks and APIs utilized by dozens of developers for functionality such as
upload creation, upload access, resolution checking, and document design.
 Created novel web-based tools for customers, including an integrated image cropping
interface (patent pending) and a drag-and-drop photo management solution.
 Member of lead problem diagnosis team. Regularly carried out analyses across
terabytes of data to analyze server performance, troubleshoot and valuate website
problems, discover customer trends, and facilitate business decisions.
 Collaborated frequently with marketing, user experience, and IT teams.
 Extensive work with .NET Framework, T-SQL, and JavaScript/CSS.
