SKIN REJUVENATION
Skin Rejuvenation is a process that improves all the visible elements of the skin altered by the sun or
aging, including wrinkles, laxity, roughness, enlarged pores, talagectacias (red veins), erythema (redness)
and uneven pigmentation.
The Photo Rejuvenation is the visible improvement of the skin using a laser or light source acting noninvasively and without injury. It is a new concept and approach in skin treatment. The IPL system treats
extremely well the skin of the facial area, neck, chest and back of hands. For best results, it is
recommended for a patient to come in the first time for six (6) consecutive days and then, only once a
month for maintenance.
The end result is to obtain a more youthful and healthier skin, soften wrinkles, skin texture, skin laxity, the
appearance of pores, pigmentation irregularities (age spots), erythema , telangiectasia and redness. The
treated skin shows a significant formation of new collagen.
The long-term results after IPL photo facial treatments show that 70% of patients maintained an
improvement of up to twenty one months after last treatment.
Side effects, if present, are minimal and consist of small temporary redness and inflammation. Also, the
patient may see a darkening of skin pigmentation but in seven days is resolved.
IPL photo facial treatments are especially attractive for patients who wish to improve their skin's
appearance without recovery time and the result is quite natural.

Photo Rejuvenation works very well on Skin Spots
HAIR REMOVAL
- Treating all skin types.
Permanent hair removal – It can take up to eight (9) treatments to totally eliminate the undesired hair.
This totally depends on the patient and the visible results.
6 Sessions - One session per week.
2 additional sessions - Once per month (if any hair is still present)
1 final Session after two months as a follow up (if necessary).
To treat legs and arms (thicker skin) – it should take 6 to 8 continuous sessions - weekly or every 15 days.
If the patient extends the treatments to more time in between sessions, it may take more sessions than
originally planned. Hair removal on Man’s face: It is highly recommended to apply cold icy compresses to
area to be treated before using the laser to assist with the possible discomfort. It is also recommended to
set the cooling system to high.
It is also recommended that the patient come shaven with at least 1mm of hair length so that it is easy to
view the areas to be treated. A burning smells will be experienced during treatment and this is a good sign
- and nothing to be alarmed about.
***If a patient has any skin spots on the area to be treated, it is recommended to use laser only in the
spotted area first and when this area clears, then it is acceptable to apply laser all over the area.
*** It is recommended to try the IPL on the arm of the patient first.
*** After all laser treatments, it is always recommended to apply a moisturizing cream and Sunblock.
*** Technician and patient should use light color clothing when applying laser treatments.

How IPL energy removes hair permanently?
A highly controlled intense light is selectively absorbed by hair follicles, which are located below the skin
surface. The absorbed light heats the hair and destroys the ability of re-growth potential of the follicle. All
without damaging the surrounding tissue.
How is it treated?
You start by shaving the hair that is in the skin. Patient is asked to wear dark glasses to protect eyes from
bright light. The IPL control piece is then applied to the skin and pulses of light begin to remove the hairs.
The remaining hair in the treated area fall into one or two weeks.
How does it feel during treatment?
Each pulse of light is perceived as a slight sting or pinch similar to when you get with a rubber band. You
do not need local anesthesia and most people tolerate the treatment well.
Can all hair colors be treated?
IPL's unique design offers a tailored treatment according to hair color, texture and body area. Any hair
with at least one pigment (black, brown, red and even blond) can be treated effectively.
Is IPL safe for all skin types?
The IPL is the first approved for hair removal procedure effectively treat unwanted hair on all skin types,
including dark-skinned individuals as the descendants of blacks, Hispanics and Asians.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are extremely rare. Some redness may appear or local swelling at the treatment area but
disappears within hours. Occasionally the skin may be darker or lighter following treatment, but will
return to normal within a few weeks. You should limit sun exposure before and after each treatment to
minimize the risk of complications. After treatment you can return to work and normal activities
immediately.
What results can I expect?

1 - Check cable connections and power supply pedal activation
2 - Check the cooling water level by observing the effect in the rear of the equipment, must be in the upper line
3 - Check if the brake switch or power supply to equipment which is located in the back of it, is in position "ON"
or above.
4 - Check if the emergency stop switch (red button) that is on the left front of the computer, making it to rotate
clockwise
5 - Turn on the computer operating the "Switch" to the position Θ
6 - A screen will appear indicating the different treatments or applications on your computer
