Write a new Constitution for our country. Detailing how the government should function AND the rights that people will be assured. The scenario could be for the modern USA or even recreating a government in year 2015. 2. Bill of Rights Scrapbook- Finding examples of each of the Bill of Rights amendments. Cut them out of newspapers/magazines or print them from online sources. Then, write a connection paragraph for each. ***If you choose this project it will be graded with a separate 45 point rubric AND an organizer will be provided by the teacher*** 3. You will research three Supreme Court cases in which one of the Bill of Rights amendments was involved in the case. You will put together a “Supreme Court and the Bill of Rights” report (at least one page for each court case). ***If you choose this project it will be graded with a separate 45 point rubric AND an organizer will be provided by the teacher*** 4. Nightly News Broadcast OR Acting out a “Play” to highlight Constitutional government functions AND stories that highlight the constitution protecting rights. Must include a written script with 15 references to Constitutional content. (If well done-- 5 extra credit points) 5. Original song and music video.
