Formal Announcement:

“50 Years of Fluency in the Human Conversation”

This year, the College of Humanities is celebrating its 50th anniversary. In commemoration of this event, a new exhibit is opening in the Education in Zion Gallery, located in the Joseph F. Smith

Building.

We invite all students, faculty, and staff to the gallery for the grand opening of the exhibit, where they can learn about the college’s history and the many ways that our students and alumni have used their humanities degrees in the world. In addition, all alumni are invited to come and have their pictures taken, which will be used as part of an upcoming photomural celebrating our alumni and their achievements.

The exhibit will open on Wednesday, September 30 from 4-7 p.m. A faculty jazz band and student foreign language choirs will perform and Dean Scott Miller will deliver a brief address. Catered refreshments will be served.

When: Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 4-7 p.m.

Where: Education in Zion Gallery (2 nd floor, JFSB)

Who: Hear remarks from Dean J. Scott Miller, listen to music in five languages as well as a faculty jazz band
