Today’s Select Menu option is: Orange Chicken Congratulations to our Students of the week: Trinity Marsh, Sloane Boukobza, and Makenna Bishko! All money and pledge cards are due by Friday, December 11 for any student who participated in the Walk for Washington fundraiser. Checks are made out to Memorial Junior High. NJHS meeting is after school Thursday in room 220. The meeting will end at 3:45. Student Council Officers meeting will be tomorrow, Wednesday in room 201. The meeting will end at 4:00. Yearbook will meet at our usual time, Thursday this week, from 3:20-4:00 in Ms. Morgan's room, Room 120. We will be assigning and creating pages. Be there or be square. Girls Basketball begins this week! Open gyms will be held on Tuesday from 5-6:30pm and Wednesday after school. Both open gyms will be in Old Gym. Tryouts will begin on Thursday after school in the New Gym. Remember to make and stay on the team you must be passing five classes at the end of the second quarter next week. Any 8th grade student interested in playing in the PBIS Staff vs Student Basketball Game must sign up in the cafeteria during lunch. Basketball Game Criteria: Any student who has received a referral last week and this week will not be allowed into the basketball game. Students: cell phones are to be secured in your lockers upon arrival to school. Any cell phone visible will be confiscated by administration or security. Cell phones are not to be brought to the cafeteria or any common area in the building. Students, as a reminder when we have guest teachers in the building you are expected to be respectful at all times. Any student receiving a referral from a guest teacher will be excluded from the next PBIS event, as well as receive further consequences. The word of the day is: Magnetic Field: Definition- the area around a magnet where its magnetic force exists. Sentence: The Sun’s magnetic field shields the Earth from its high energy particles. Students are expected to walk on the right hand side of the hallway, keep your conversations with peers at quiet as possible, and only go to your lockers at the beginning of the day, at lunch, and at the end of the school day.
