IB Science Group IV Project Poster Evaluation Rubric Student Name : Category Scoring Criteria Points Poster is organized in vertical columns, not horizontal. It should have a professional and artistic look. Experiments are arranged individually. 2-Complete 1-Partial 0-Not at All Each student’s experiment must have a separate title. The group’s “umbrella” topic is present on the board. 2-Complete 1-Partial 0-Not at All Report presentation must be easy to follow. You may use numbers, bullets or arrows. This should not be paragraphs from your report. It should be an easy to read summary. 2-Complete 1-Partial 0-Not at All Text size – Must be readable from 2-3 foot distance. Do not print off your 12-point font report and paste on poster. Your report is emailed separately to the teacher. The summary goes on the poster. It is recommended an 18-font minimum. Plan ahead with the use of space available per student on each poster. 2-Complete 1-Partial 0-Not at All Layout of experiment is easy to follow with no confusion of which experiment it is or what is the next step. Should flow beginning to end, in order. 2-Complete 1-Partial 0-Not at All Student name is present on the front of the board adjacent to the experiment. It should emphasize or link words and images (color changes should serve a purpose). Color could be text, background. Poster should appear professional and may be scientifically artistic. If you did any background reading or research in order to help you devise your procedure, this is where you cite your sources. Use proper APA format. 3.
