A Message from Management
Thanks to Mother Nature, the 2015 golf season extended into mid-December for Canterbury Woods and Pembroke
Pines! All three courses are now closed for the year with the final day of play on December 13. All facilities (grounds
and buildings) at Ridgewood are closed for the winter. The Business Office at Canterbury Woods will be open
throughout the winter and of course the indoor activities at Pembroke Pines (golf simulators, table pool and darts) will
continue all winter.
We are pleased to announce that we are making a number of course improvements, partly in response to end-of-year
surveys and member feedback. For example, the tee boxes at Pembroke Pines are being redesigned and the bunkers at
Canterbury Woods are being reworked and filled. Look for these and other improvements to be carried out in 2016!
Congratulations once again to all our club champions and tournament winners. A special recognition goes out to the
Bow High School Golf Team, based out of Canterbury Woods, for winning the 2015 Div-III State Championship for the
fourth year in a row. All three courses appreciate and encourage their younger golfers to participate in opportunities
that will improve their golf skills!
On behalf of the entire Management Team, I would like to thank all our members for their continued support and
membership. On a final note, I encourage you to contact me at any time during the winter if you have any questions or
suggestions. We wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and we look forward to seeing you again next year. Let’s
hope for an early spring and lots of good golf weather in 2016!

Happy Holidays from

Although it does not look much like Christmas outside at
the moment, it is really only a short time away! As we
look back at the 2015 golf season that seemed to fly by
all too quickly, we’d like to stop and thank everyone who
supported the club, both our loyal members and our
frequent guests. Thank you! Join us again for 2016 as we
continue to work hard to make Pembroke Pines Country
Club one of the best courses in the area.
During the cold winter months stop by for a round of golf
on either of our two, PGA Tour AboutGolf Simulators. Or
play a game of pool or darts with friends while you enjoy
great eats and delicious drinks at the Pembroke Pub! We
hope to see you soon!
