RULES OF THE MASSY UNITED INSURANCE
OPEN JUNIOR SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS - 2015
1.
The Rules of Squash as laid down by the World Squash Federation shall apply to this tournament.
The official WSF point-a-rally to 11 (PAR-11) scoring system shall be used for all main draw
matches.
2.
The B.S.A. Code of Conduct shall be upheld during the tournament. A copy of this code is posted on
the notice board of each local club.
3.
Eligibility: Open tournament, players must provide proof of age at registration. Players shall be
under their age group as of the 04 December 2015.
4.
The Dunlop Revelation Pro Double Yellow Dot Ball shall be the official ball of the tournament.

Entries close on Wednesday 25 November 2015 at 4:00pm

Completed entry forms shall be submitted to the B.S.A. Tournament Committee, c/o The Barbados
Squash Club, Marine Gardens, Hastings, Christ Church OR c/o Pleasant Place Squash Club
Dayrell’s road Christ Church. Entries may also be submitted online via e-mail to: Terry Millar at

Format: The Massy United Insurance Open Junior National Championships and all Plate
Competitions will be played on a knock-out basis unless the size of the draw in any age category is
determined to be too small, in which case a round robin format may be used. All matches will be the
3 best of 5 games, unless otherwise determined by the B.S.A. Tournament Committee.
8.
Players will be expected to either mark or referee the match following their own. If for any
reason the players cannot do so, they are responsible for finding a competent referee and
marker to act on their behalf.
9.
Players are expected to wear proper squash attire. Goggles are mandatory for all participants.
10.
The draw will be made on Sunday 29 November, 2015 and will be posted together with the times of
matches on the notice board of the Barbados Squash Club on or before Tuesday 01 December, 2015.
Players/parents should check times themselves at the Barbados Squash Club (Tel. 427-7913). The
B.S.A. is not responsible for advising players of the times of their matches and will be under no
obligation to change times of matches to accommodate players once the draw is published.

The tournament is held under the control of the B.S.A. Tournament Committee and any disputes will
be settled by the Tournament Committee(TC). Complaints should be made to the TC Convenor:

Players who enter this tournament do so entirely at their own risk and the Barbados Squash
Association and/or the Barbados Squash Club will not accept responsibility for any injury or
disability arising from participation in the tournament.
