For Pre-Human Nutrition and Pre-Dietetics Students
Students who are a pre-human nutrition major can apply for major status when they have completed or are in
the process of completing* the pre-major courses below with a pre-major GPA of 2.8 or higher.
Students who are a pre-dietetics major can apply for major status when they have completed or are in the
process of completing* the pre-major courses below with a pre-major GPA of 2.8 or higher AND have a
cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher.
Please complete this form by the application deadline listed below and submit it electronically to Anissa

* Students can apply for upper-level admission during the semester in which they are completing the pre-major components listed
above and, if the GPA requirement is met, will be offered conditional admission to the upper-level program. Grades will be verified at
the end of the semester.
** A student can repeat a pre-major course to meet the GPA requirement. If a student repeats a pre-major course as one of their three
University-accepted repeat options, only the repeat grade will be factored into the pre-major coursework GPA. If a student repeats a
course outside of the University-accepted repeat options then the course grades will be averaged and then factored into the pre-major
coursework GPA.
