KaVo MASTER lase / KaVo EXPERT lase Diode Lasers:
New bleaching handpiece extends indication range

A new bleaching handpiece for the MASTER lase and EXPERT
lase diode lasers extends the indication range of these units. In
addition to the applications in surgery, endodontics and
periodontology, these lasers can now also be used for laserbased bleaching. The broad range of applications, time-saving
functions and excellent price-performance ratio make both units
a true economic benefit in every dental practice.
The classical applications of the KaVo MASTER lase and KaVo
EXPERT lase diode lasers so far included soft-tissue surgery and
decontaminating procedures in periodontology and endodontics.
This range of applications is now being extended to also include
bleaching. The new specialised bleaching handpiece facilitates
the laser-based activation of bleaching gels. Fitted with a
scratch-resistant
sapphire
tip,
the
handpiece
produces
a
wobble-free, constant spot for a perfect treatment result and
improved patient satisfaction.
Compared to conventional therapy, MASTER lase / EXPERT lase
treatment leads to less bleeding, less swelling and, in the
further course, to a reduction in post-operative symptoms.
From delicate incisions to extensive ablation – even bleedingfree interventions may be possible, depending on the indication.
This adds up to more comfortable, less painful therapies for
patients and stress-free treatment situations for therapist and
dental practice team.

For optimal application of the MASTER lase and EXPERT lase in
routine practice, the software includes a step-by-step assistant
with many pre-set indications that allow even newcomers to
attain excellent results. Both diode lasers are equipped with the
newly developed "Easy-Click" connection system, which allows
not only for rapid, simple and very comfortable change of fibre
tips,
but
also
ensures
that
the
powerful
laser
light
is
transmitted all the way to the fibre tip.
The KaVo MASTER lase diode laser is more powerful than the
EXPERT lase (10 rather than 8 watts peak) and it has a built-in
rechargeable battery for improved mobility. Available as an
option, the wireless foot control affords comfortable control of
the laser power of this unit during the treatment. In addition to
the surgical handpiece fitted with a fibre-tip, there is another
standard handpiece for the MASTER lase fitted with a sapphire
tip for use in surgery.
The high quality fibre and sapphire tips ensure perfect
treatment results.
