1. Visiting Consultant Dental Surgeon A dedicated Dental Surgeon to provide quality dental services and preventive dental care to its patients. The appointee will be expected to further develop a dynamic and efficient dental service at the Hospital. Eligibility Criteria: Full FCPS with at least 5 years previous experience. An overseas qualification would be an advantage. Full Registration with the PMDC. Ability to undertake dental procedures independently. Consultant Pediatrician The Consultant will be expected to participate actively in teaching and training programmes for junior doctors in the department of Paediatric and also to liaise closely with physicians in other specialties as well as with other staff within the hospital. Eligibility Criteria: FCPS / MRCP - Paediatrics (UK) / MRCPCH (UK) / American Board in Paediatrics. The consultant is expected to have expertise in all aspects of Radiology, but with specific expertise and interest in either ultrasonography, cross-sectional body imaging, women’s imaging, PET-CT or interventional radiology. Site specialization is imperative in the development of these services. The major purpose of this post is to strengthen and develop Radiology services at the hospital. The individual is expected to work with radiographers, staff and managers to ensure that established quality assurance and quality practice guidelines and standards are maintained. Eligibility Criteria: FRCR (UK) with CCST in Radiology, with three years’ experience in the UK American Boards in Radiology. Consultant Medical Haematologist This is a position for a highly motivated individual, who will be expected to take part in developing services. The appointee will provide outpatient and inpatient treatment services. The individual will collaborate with colleagues within the department to develop Services and liaise closely with Surgeons and Physicians in other specialties and staff within the hospital. Eligibility Criteria: MRCP (UK) with CCST in Medical Oncology. American Board in Internal Medicine, with sub-specialty boards in Haematology and / or Medical Oncology. Full Registration with PMDC. Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good leadership and organizational skills. 9. Consultant Specialists (Internal Medicine) A highly motivated and committed individual to undertake positions as Visiting consultant Specialists in fields of Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology and Dermatology. The specialists will be expected to provide expertise in their respective fields in day to day management of sick patients coming to the hospital. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with other Internal Medicine physicians and specialists towards a common goal of improving the outcome of treatment at Hospital. They will be expected to participate in teaching and training program for junior doctors in the department of Internal Medicine and also liaise closely with Surgeons and Physicians in other specialties and staff within the hospital. Eligibility Criteria: MRCP with consultant status in UK/Ireland/ American Boards in respective specialty. Should have valid PMDC license. Ability to interact and coordinate with diverse groups of people. Computer literacy and good communication skills. Willing and able to provide on-call cover for consultation in the respective field. 10. Consultant Pathologist A highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a full time Consultant Pathologist. The consultant is expected to have expertise in all aspects of pathology, but with specific expertise in histopathology, cytopathology, haematology or molecular biology. Site specialization is imperative in the development of these services. The pathologist is expected to collaborate with colleagues within the department to develop Pathology Services and liaise closely with Surgeons and Physicians in other specialties and staff within the hospital. Eligibility Criteria: MRCP Path (UK) with CCST in Pathology. American Boards in Pathology (CP/AP). Post-residency fellowship in a branch of Pathology would be an advantage. Full PMDC Registration. Consultant Gynecologic Surgeon This is a position for a highly motivated individual, who will be expected to take part in developing services. The Consultant Gynecologic Surgeon is expected to provide Gynecologic Surgical treatment to sick patients in collaboration with other teams in order to attain a common goal of improving the outcome of treatment for patients at Hospital. The selected individual will need to be able to provide evidence of training in, and experience of, surgical management of patients with gynaecologic problems. Eligibility Criteria: FRCS with CCST in Gynaecology and evidence of satisfactory completion of subspecialty training in Gynaecologic Oncology surgery. American Board in Gynaecologic Surgery, with sub-specialty training in Gynaecologic surgery. Full PMDC Registration. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and patients. 12. Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon: This is a post for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a full time Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. The Consultant Surgeon is expected to provide Plastic and reconstructive surgical expertise. The individual will collaborate with Anesthetists and operating theatre staff to ensure provision of optimal plastic and surgical services to sick patients. Consultant Ophthalmologist: The candidate is expected to provide expertise in the day to day management of patients with ophthalmologic issues in the outpatient and inpatient settings. This individual is expected to carry out EUA, enucleations and implants. The post-holder will also be expected to advise colleagues caring for patients with ophthalmologic issues on the optimal management and treatment of such illness. The appointee will be expected to work with and support the established multidisciplinary team. Eligibility Criteria: The appointee will be expected to be able to provide evidence of at least three years of overseas training in Ophthalmology and will be expected to have one of the following qualifications. Consultant Cardiologist The candidate is expected to provide expertise in the day to day management of patients with cardiology issues in the outpatient, inpatient and intensive care settings. Consultant ENT: The candidate is expected to provide expertise in the day to day management of patients with ENT issues in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
