Young Scholars’ Workshop
As we have done over the last two years, the seventh IASEMS conference will devote a space to
young scholars, who will be able to discuss and present their research in a special session during the
conference.
This year the expert we have invited to chair the workshop and present comments and suggestions
to young scholars is prof. William C. Carroll, of Boston University
(http://www.bu.edu/english/people/faculty/william-carroll/). We are sure this will be an occasion
for young scholars to disseminate their work and have precious feedback from Professor Carroll as
well as from the whole assembly.
Young scholars wishing to take part in the workshop should send an outline of their research project
(500 words), a detailed bibliography, and a short CV by 15 April 2016 to the addresses indicated
below.
Presentations should not exceed 10 minutes, followed by 10-minute discussions. Scholars whose
proposals are accepted will be able to apply for IASEMS minigrants (see website).
